Day 1 - Overnight Flight

Today board your overnight flight to Europe.


Day 2 - Arrive Athens, Greece

Welcome to Greece! Arrive in Athens and meet your Tour Director. Athens boasts some of the most glorious history in the world. The enchanting capital of Greece is often considered the birthplace of civilization. Arguably, the most important civilization of the ancient world flourished in Athens and relives through superb architectural masterpieces. This evening join your fellow travelers for a Welcome Dinner. (D)


Day 3 - Athens - Olympia

This morning travel west to Corinth dating back to the 8th century BC and the place where St. Paul preached. Explore ancient Corinth featuring the Agora, where Paul’s trial by Gallio took place, and the Bema, where Paul was brought before the tribunal, as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles. Enjoy spectacular scenery as you cross the Arkadian Mountains en route to the ancient city of Mycenae, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a tour of the 19th-century excavations revealing the splendors so vividly described by Homer. Later arrive Olympia for a two night stay. (B)


Day 4 - Olympia

Today enjoy a tour of ancient Olympia including the Olympic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games were held in 776 B.C. and the Museum. Later stop for a Winery Visit in the countryside to enjoy a Tasting Experience of local wines and olive oil. This evening enjoy some leisure time in Olympia. (B)

Day 5 - Olympia - Delphi

Today travel northeast to Delphi which clings to the side of Mount Parnassus at 2,000 feet. Here you visit Ancient Delphi to see the Sanctuary of Apollo, the Doric Temple and Theater. Also visit the Delphi Museum before checking into your hotel. This evening enjoy dinner with your fellow travelers. (B,D)

Day 6 - Delphi - Kalambaka

This morning travel towards Kalambaka. Enjoy a guided visit to two Meteora Monasteries, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monasteries are built on spectacular natural sandstone rock pillars and although it is unknown when Meteora was established, hermit monks were believed to be living among the caves and cutouts in the rocks as early as the 11th century. Overnight in nearby Kalambaka and enjoy an evening at leisure.     (B,D)


Day 7 - Kalambaka - Athens

Today travel south to Athens. En route stop in Thermopylae to admire the Monument to King Leonidas & the 300 Spartans, celebrating the battle of Thermopylae from 480 B.C. Continue to Athens for a two night stay and enjoy the evening at leisure to explore, shop or dine at a local cafe. (B)


Day 8 - Athens Sightseeing

Today enjoy an Athens City Tour featuring Syntagma Square, the Parliament, the Presidential Palace, Hadrian’s Arch, Temple of Zeus and the Ancient Olympic Stadium. Today’s highlight will surely be a visit to the Acropolis with its incredible Parthenon, the most important site of the city and one of the most recognizable monuments in the world. Later continue to the Plaka, the oldest part of the city to enjoy free time for lunch and shopping. Tonight enjoy a special Greek Taverna Farewell Dinner featuring traditional food & entertainment. After dinner discover Athens By Night featuring an illuminated Acropolis & Parthenon. (B,D)


Day 9 - Athens - Flight Home
