Travel to Ven miglia, Italy to explore this quaint seaside town. Enjoy  me on your
own to explore the massive street market or wander the cobbled streets. Con nue to San Remo, the capital town of the Italian Riviera. Enjoy some  me to explore the old town called La Pigna which is characterized by perched houses, steep streets, covered alleys, and li le squares--a glimpse of Medieval  mes. Later return to Nice and enjoy an evening at leisure.
Enjoy a day at leisure in Nice to relax by
the sea or visit a museum. Maybe join the op onal excursion to Aix-en-Provence, the city of art and light. Aix is also ancient, the area was a Cel c-Ligurian capital da ng to the 3rd century BC. Visit Paul Cezanne’s Studio which has been preserved as it was when he died in 1906. Just east of Aix, take a picture of Montagne Ste-Victoire which inspired many of Cezanne’s pain ngs, 87 in all. During your visit to Aix, enjoy a Wine Tas ng from a local vineyard of the region before returning to Nice. (B)
Today travel to the principality of Monaco,
a  ny city-state on the Mediterranean Sea
and surrounded by France. The most famous district of Monaco is Monte Carlo, the site of the well-known casino and a gli ering center of interna onal social life. Upon arrival enjoy a Monte Carlo Area Tour including the 19th- century Romanesque Cathedral, the site of Princess Grace’s Tomb. Complete your tour with a visit to the famous Casino Monte Carlo. Tonight enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in the Nice area with your fellow travelers. (B,D)
Enjoy a full day to explore Nice on your own. Nice itself is an a rac on with its rich blue- green sea, diverse shopping, splendid dining and lovely art-deco façades. Maybe join an op onal tour and visit Eze, a medieval French village with cra  shops and excellent views
of the Mediterranean coast. The excursion also features St. Jean-Cap Ferrat, one of the three major capes of the French Riviera and probably the most beau ful. Visit the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, built by Beatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild, a wealthy French socialite in the early 1900’s. (B)

of Cannes and St. Tropez. Travel to Cannes,
a glamorous and expensive seaside town considered to be one of the social hubs of Europe. Its moment to shine arrives in May each year as the venue for the Cannes Film Fes val, entertaining the rich and famous. Enjoy some  me to sit at street side tables and enjoy the favored hobby of people watching up and down the lovely marina. Later travel to St. Tropez, an interna onally known seaside resort, renowned principally because of the in ux of the French New Wave and later as
a resort for the jet set. St. Tropez is a goal
for tourists in search of a li le Provençal authen city, and the occasional celebrity sigh ng. This evening join your fellow travelers
       for a Farewell Dinner.
