    Day 5 - HAIFA
This morning we tour Haifa and stop at the view point overlooking the bay and hanging Baha’i Gardens. From here we con nue to Safed the Holy City on the Galilee Mountains to visit the old city. Con nue to Akko to tour the ancient city and see the underground crusaders city. We will walk through the escape tunnel to the old port and see the tradi onal Turkish Bath now used as a local museum telling the story of Akko. Tonight enjoy dinner with your fellow travelers. Day 6 - HAIFA - JORDAN - DEAD SEA
A er breakfast we will cross over to Jordan and con nue to the Jordan River. In Jordan we will meet our local driver and guide and drive to Jerash, the “Pompeii of the East,” which is perhaps the best preserved of the provincial Roman towns. Around its colonnaded main street, see the Cardo, Temple of Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Artemis Temple and the Nymphaeum. Then onward to our Dead Sea hotel for 3 nights and dinner with your fellow
Day 9 - DEAD SEA - JERUSALEM
A er breakfast, drive to Allenby Bridge and back to Israel. A er arrival in Israel, we will drive southward along the shores of the
Dead Sea to Masada. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for the palaces built
by King Herod and for the heroic struggle of the Jewish Zealots against the Romans. We will take a cable car and visit this amazing site. Next we visit Jericho, one of the oldest ci es in the world to see the excava ons of the ancient walls, view the Mount of Tempta on and see Elijah’s Spring. Con nue to Jerusalem for 2 nights and dinner with your fellow travelers.

Day 10 - JERUSALEM
Today we visit the Old City and the Western Wall Tunnels. Then con nue to the Mount of Olives for the breathtaking view of the en re city. Then to The Garden of Gethsemane the site of the arrest of Jesus. We con nue to Mount Zion to the tomb of King David and
the nearby Room of the Last Supper. Enter
the Old City walls, visit the Jewish quarter, the Cardo, the Broad Wall, and con nue to the Western Wall, the most sacred site to Jews from all over the world. From here, cross over to the Chris an Quarter and walk along the Via Dolorosa and see the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the site of the burial of Jesus. End the day with a lovely walk through the colorful Bazaars. Tonight enjoy dinner with your fellow travelers. (B,L,D)
Day 11 - JERUSALEM
Today we visit the new city of Jerusalem. We will enter into the Knesset and learn about Israeli Democracy through a special guided tour. Then a special visit to Ammuni on Hill, where we will learn about the 1967 ba le for the uni ca on of Jerusalem. Next visit the Israel Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls,
the Biblical Archaeology museum and a
special visit to the “JUDAICA” pavilion of the Museum. Later take a short drive to the town of Bethlehem where we will visit the na vity site of Jesus and the Shepherds Field. Return to Jerusalem. The remainder of the day will be free for last minute shopping and preparing for your journey home. Tonight enjoy a Farewell Dinner with your fellow travelers. (B,L,D)
Day 12 - Tel Aviv - Flight Home†
Transfer to the airport for your  ight home  lled with memories of your Israel & Jordan Highlights Tour. (B)

Day 8 - PETRA

 This morning, experience a tour into the breathtaking “rose-red” city of Petra which begins at the “Siq,” a winding canyon road. At the end of the passage you’ll see Petra’s most beau ful monument – the Treasury – carved out of the solid rock from the side of the mountain. Beyond the Treasury, you’ll discover soaring temples, elaborate royal tombs, a theatre, burial chambers and water channels. Return to our hotel in Dead Sea. Tonight enjoy
